Engel products are becoming more and more used through the world. News International in the UK, the biggest distribution facility of newspaper in Europe, has chosen Engel to become their partner to distribute the TV signal through their premises.

SOLUTIONS PRESENTED BY ENGEL AT ANGA CABLE 2008

During the last month of May (from the 27th to the 29th), Engel, for the 4th consecutive year, was exhibiting its products at Anga Cable 2008, Europe´s leading Trade Fair for Cable, Broadband & Satellite, which takes place every year in Cologne (Germany)
This year, the show counted with an area of about 7.500m2, around 400 exhibitors and with the presence of more than 20.000 visitors from all over the world, Anga got the visitor´s record of any previous edition.
Engel´s stand also received a big flow of visitors and all of them agreed about the high innovation of products and services which were displayed there. The response was especially positive with 3 products which were presented at Anga:
-Distribution of encrypted channels due to the inclusion of a Common Interface system on all receivers of the Head-End compact station " Digicompact-8 ", a product which Engel is manufacturing since several years ago.
-Digital transmodulators (QPSK/OFDM to OFDM and QPSK/OFDM to IP), fully compatible with the Digicompact-8.
-The ultra-selective AM6000 series channel amplifiers, which allow single channel amplification on adjacent channels no matter what system and standard is present.
Apart from this, Engel also exhibited the already consolidated professional range, with all the necessary elements to carry out a complete installation, which goes from the antenna to the TV outlet, including the different active and passive elements such as head-ends, amplifiers, splitters, cable, modulators, multi-switches...)
In conclusion, Engel took part in the most successful edition of Anga Cable, with a wide and updated range of products, as a result of the high investment done in R&D over the last few years.
Engel will go on innovating in order to offer to the market the most advanced solutions for the SMATV/MATV business.

ENGEL AXIL S.L. is moving to its new headquarters in Santiga (Barcelona). The new headquarter, with more than 24.000 m2, will include modern office space, a big sales point with over 726m2, after sales service, production department and a state of the art R&D department for the development of new products. It will also include a big warehouse equipped with automatic logistics systems to be able to cope with immediate deliveries. We have also reserved meeting rooms to be able to offer technical and commercial training to our valuable customers.
Engel Axil is an Spanish company dedicated to the manufacturing and distribution of products for the reception and distribution of television signals. Since its birth in 1986 to our days, we have been able to open delegations throughout the Spanish territory and expand our presence though the rest of the world, becoming a leader in reception, amplification and distribution of Digital Terrestrial and Satellite television.

Téchnical Semirary in Córdoba

Engel has initiated the round of seminaries in the zone of Andalucia. First they were in Cordova and Jaén,
and next they will be celebrated in Seville and Malaga.
The main agenda of the course was destined to explain the present and future situation of the TDT,
as well as a practical course in the use of our main products for this application.
Among them we emphasized:
The range of receivers TDT and Satellite, from more basic zapper, like for example the Tboston Dtt 3500,
to the models of the high range with port USB, HDMI, rewriteable DVD...
The heads of Monocanales AM6000, one of the selective and powerful Amplifiers but of the market,
suitable to combine analog channels and digital of very diverse levels.
Finally DigiCompact 8, a head for reception and modulation of DS in collective facilities. A perfect product to give service to Hotels, Hospitals...

Technical seminary in Huesca
|
AXIL ENGEL follows their line of formation clients. since as specialistic of the sector we create very useful to transfer our information and knowledge to the market. The past month of January a technical seminary was made in Huesca jointly with distributor NAVASOLA HUESCA, LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, the main agenda of the course was destined to explain the present and future situation of the TDT as well as a practical course in the use of our main products for this application. New range of Satellite Multiswitch
|

Engel presents a complete range of IF Multiswitches,
including multisubscriber and cascadable models, from
5 to 17 inputs.
Whit this range we will be able to cover big aplications up
to 16 polarities, including also active mix of Terrestrial
Channels.
The multisubscriber range (STAR configuration) includes
switchable power supply built-in.In terms of outputs,
there are aviable 4,6,8 and 12 outputs.
The cascade range, includes passive models, as well as
amplifiers with individual gain for every input, so they
can be useful as headend units or also as intermediate
amplifier.
All the range offers LNB control (13V/18V and 22KHz)
and DISEqC signals

Catalogue Consummer 2008

The new catalogue of consummer 2008 is already available where it will be possible to be seen all the new features for this year.
We would like to emphasize:
· New DTT receivers like the MINI EUROZAPPER, of reduced dimensions that allow to be placed directly to scart of their television set being totally hidden, the new RT210 that combines the TDT with Recording DVD, or TBOSTON RC a 8300 stand for casks TDT+SAT with frontal connector USB. Also a wide range of satellite receivers have been incorporated, like the TBOSTON DVB 4650, a receiver with a complete frontal panel where it can be found two readers CI, a Conax card reader, and a connector USB to overturn to the television set originating images of a digital camera, files of music in MP3 format or to update the software of the equipment in a fast and agile way.
· In addition to the receivers, the new AXIL PRO family, all type of high level audio/video connections. High quality cables with golden and shielded connectors, HDMI, USB cables..
· ENGEL AXIL its already well-known for its line TFT/PLASMA/Projector supports, which is now enlarged with more variety of designs, sizes, colors and finished. A great range is the Pininfarina line created by the prestigious Italian designer.

New Headquarters of the delegation West Andalucía
|
ENGEL AXIL available, in addition to the headquarters in Barberà del Valles (Barcelona) where there are offices, laboratory, production, technical service and the main logistics warehouse of the company, 6 delegations throughout the national territory each with its own warehouse and point of sale.
The company is in full growth phase, and proof of that is that the delegation of the zone which covers Western Andalusia in Seville, moved to a new headquarters last September in order to have more space to store and ability warehouse.
Their new 350 m2, in addition to its better geographical location and accessibility, will enable better care to our clients.

The TBOSTON4500 is one of the best-known recipients and greater reputation thanks that since spent more than 5 years in the market, with a high reliability, stability and efficient after-sales served.
Sample this reliability is that Engel continues to invest in this model, and now it has added a new feature software very interesting, MOSAIC.
This feature allows you to have a channel visualizandose in the center of the screen, and also an additional flash 9 channels in small windows around, so that only with a key on the remote control may exchange channel to the central screen either channel side of one of the small windows.
With this feature the user can save the zapping annoying and always have their favorite channels available manara quick and agile.
Currently ENGEL already entragando new TBOSTON4500 MOSAIC, which are easily identifiable because they carry a label on the carton which clearly indicates that the function is available MOSAIC. This new application is based on a modification of software, and therefore it is important to mention that software USALS NEW previous model is not compatible with the new model MOSAIC.
