During the last month of May (from the 27th to the 29th), Engel, for the 4th consecutive year, was exhibiting its products at Anga Cable 2008, Europe´s leading Trade Fair for Cable, Broadband & Satellite, which takes place every year in Cologne (Germany)
This year, the show counted with an area of about 7.500m2, around 400 exhibitors and with the presence of more than 20.000 visitors from all over the world, Anga got the visitor´s record of any previous edition.
Engel´s stand also received a big flow of visitors and all of them agreed about the high innovation of products and services which were displayed there. The response was especially positive with 3 products which were presented at Anga:
-Distribution of encrypted channels due to the inclusion of a Common Interface system on all receivers of the Head-End compact station " Digicompact-8 ", a product which Engel is manufacturing since several years ago.
-Digital transmodulators (QPSK/OFDM to OFDM and QPSK/OFDM to IP), fully compatible with the Digicompact-8.
-The ultra-selective AM6000 series channel amplifiers, which allow single channel amplification on adjacent channels no matter what system and standard is present.
Apart from this, Engel also exhibited the already consolidated professional range, with all the necessary elements to carry out a complete installation, which goes from the antenna to the TV outlet, including the different active and passive elements such as head-ends, amplifiers, splitters, cable, modulators, multi-switches...)
In conclusion, Engel took part in the most successful edition of Anga Cable, with a wide and updated range of products, as a result of the high investment done in R&D over the last few years.
Engel will go on innovating in order to offer to the market the most advanced solutions for the SMATV/MATV business.
